After years of working in the residential real estate world, I met a pig named Esther that flipped my life upside down. It became my life's work to share Esther's story with the world while helping others see the magic of kindness and the power of a smile through Esther's social media pages. Her popularity online led to the creation of Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary in Campbellville, Ontario, a Ted talk, and multiple books including a New York Times Best Selling memoir "Changing the World One Heart at a Time." 

 In late 2023 I was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. which added a unique perspective when it comes to how we treat the people around us, and only strengthened my resolve to encourage kindness and compassion above all else. 

I am the co-founder of Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary, a New York Times Best Selling author, experienced public speaker, and "accidental activist" for animals and humans alike. Although Esther is no longer physically with us, her memory and mission will live forever. 

My approach to advocacy can be summed up in a few simple words. "Kindness is magic." Everything Esther the Wonder Pig, her sanctuary, and I have accomplished was done so with kindness, humor, and positivity as fundamental guiding principles.
